e-Health and online doctor consultation platform

The scope was to build the app based doctor consultation platform. We built apps for both doctors and patients. Doctors could register and build their profile in the app and patients could book the doctor and pay the fees through the app. Both the doctor and patients could engage in a video call for the consultation. Our solution was also supported by desktop computers through browser.

Scope

An online startup wanted to build a doctor consultation platform where patients could consult with doctors and get the prescriptions.

Solution

A mobile app was built for doctors and patients for consultation.

Challenges

  • WebRTC is the main technology for video calls through browsers. But apart from chrome no browser does not support Web RTC properly.
  • In the remote areas, patients did have limited internet connectivity and video call was not possible.
  • The app had to be designed in a simple way so that elderly could use it without any help.

Solution

  • We built a robust system and restricted the video calls within the Chrome browser for desktop computers.
  • For remote places, we arranged a regular phone calling option within the app.
  • The app and its flow were designed in such a way so that elderly could easily book doctor appointments. The texts and buttons were large in the app.
